''This was my first visit to any dispensary and can only say it was very satisfactory.Had seen mixed reviews about this place but decided to try it anyway. Perhaps someone ( employee or reviewer) was having a bad day. Izzy is very knowledgeable and was very helpful and congenial. Will definitely return.
Customer service is c- at best compared to other dispensaries, their top shelf is also really average for "indoor" honestly could be really good deps. Bought two half carts and they definitely short as well. A big yikes from me over all.
Definitely agree customer service is blah! Some act your bothering them with questions and are rushing you. There express online ordering is ineffective when the guy working up front wants allow girls to go first regardless of when your order was placed! I am newer to dispensary's and have been to about 4 and these guys definitely run the business from an egotistical point!! Meaning in their attitudes of "we don't care if you are here or not, just hurry up"!
They made me wait an hour they messed up my leafly order and when I tried to do express pickup and fix the order they told me they couldnt do anything for me ans I had to do a new order and wait in the line which would have been another hour, they are by far the rudest and worst dispensary in arizona!!!!
Lousy service the first visit. Worse on the second. Mgr Josh needs to step up his game.
Long wait. Bad customer service. I don't think the staff does a good job accommodating the customers. Online orders disrupt walk in orders. I waited half and hour for my order
By far worst dispensary I've ever been to. Smallest building possible. Smart a$$ employees who give attitude for simple questions for new patients
Yesterday I went to Nova for the first time, was told we had to pre order online and would get a text when my order was ready. Placed my order at 3:52pm. Got an order ready by 4:10pm. I get in line behind another customer and we're in line about 30 mins. Just the two of us, another customer drives up, gets in line and then after a few mins gets out of line and walks inside. So both myself and the customer before me says something to security(it was 100 degrees yesterday) about us waiting and her just walking in, he says well she has a medical card. I said well I do too, and proceed to walk in as well. When I get to the register the first thing the bud tender says is "we don't have your information go back outside" I said ummm excuse me, I've placed an order, it said it was ready over 30 mins ago, I've been standing outside and this lady was able to get out of line and just walk in, and that's not fair. The bud tender stated "well, she had her order placed before you(again he didn't have my name or order number and never asked, so I'm unsure how he knew this) and your order is in the back and you need to go back outside and just wait. Meanwhile the other customer that cut the line is actually placing an order at the counter! So clearly she was a regular! There are two bud tenders at this location and the other was free but still refused to take me. So I go back outside and continue to wait with the original lady I was behind(yes she was still waiting, mind you no one was inside but the customer who cut the line. So after waiting a few more mins, security let the lady in front of me and another man who had just walked up inside. At that point I decided my $150 could be spent somewhere else. This will be my first and last visit to Nova. Too many dispensaries to choose from with better service. I recommend Arizona Natural Selections, or Mint. Awesome staff, great customer service
Fast, friendly, and DIRECTLY across the street from Mesas worst dispensary, "the good". I'll be going here from now on
I've tried going here twice now. They're so confrontational at the little cubicle thing I've walked away both times. They seem so upset that I dare show up as a first time patient with out having already placed an online order. And God forbid I ask a question! The kid up working at the front today at noon was extremely unhelpful and confrontational. Both employees I've had the misfortune of dealing with are absolutely unprofessional.
This place is the worse medical facility rude staff kicked me out cause they couldn't honor point system
Wow what absolutely horrible service went in to buy shatter got some Jenny Kush shatter from staff recommendation when I got home wasn't shatter came out more like a sauce because of all the butane that was in the shatter it was completely on smokable called the dispensary told me even though I just purchased it that I was SOL went in this morning to talk to management management says that it's an issue that I have to take up with the supplier to get an exchange them at the dispensary has nothing to do with that horrible horrible customer service will never ever return fortunately I have run restaurants that around a bunch of smoke shops and they'll hear about itIf owners ever got off the lazy ass and read these could've just been fixed by just simply taking care of your customers
The Nova is one of my favorite places to go to. They has lots to choose from. Wax pretty cheap too
Unprofessional. I called them and a dude answers the phone. I ask him questions about Jack Herer and other strains. It was 8:59pm. I hear the dude talk to other patients as I wasn't even done asking my questions. He didn't even tell me to hold on, so I assumed he was going to come back to me after he got done with the other patients. But instead of coming back to the phone, he lets the phone off the hook for 14+ minutes talking shit about patients and swearing as it has hit passed 9pm. I tried to yell into my phone to see if anyone would hear me. No one did. So as the phone was still off the hook I decided to get my video camera and start recording the audio with the dispensary name showing the time of me waiting for someone to get back on the phone. I recorded until they decided to hang up on me.. What is up with that? I really liked the atmosphere of the place until this phone call.
Customer service is extremely lacking. Frequented this location two or three times a week for almost a year....boy has it gone downhill...no care at all if they make a mistake on the order, not any care to make it right, just I am sorry.....didn't receive my credit points last two visits, even though I asked prior to being cashed out. Enough is enough, go across the street "The Good Dispensary". You will be met with a smile and a "welcome home" greeting.
Friendly, fun and clean; They have a security guard , They are right next to Whataburger
It was my first visit today and I will definitely be coming back . I love how nice and intimate everything is . Other dispensaries make me feel uncomfortable and nervous sometimes because I don't have expert knowledge on cabbie yet so I ask a lot of questions. I was greeted by great staff who were welcoming . I was then sent to Shane M. who is the sweetest guy ever . He helped me find exactly what I need and explained in and everything I needed help with and the prices are GREAT . I will definitely be back in a couple days.
As the first time visit to Nova I found that their waiting area was fairly small and even smaller in the back. Yet it's handicap friendly and being in my power chair I did not have a problem maneuvering around.Howard P. was very knowledgeable about the medications that Nova carried and was helpful in suggesting something that would help my neuropathy. I found the whole experience fairly pleasant and the staff respectful of my handicap situation.
If I could give this place a 0 I would. The girl upfront was such a bitch I asked her a question about the student discount and she wasn't even educated.Shes very bad for business she's just a total waste of an employee.I bet they can find people with more potential that would love to work there.
Do not buy cresco carts. They get the the bottom ends cards from them and won't replace if you get one that 30% full.
This place is awesome. They are very consumer oriented and quick to assist. When I need to see a lab report on a strain, they are happy to provide a copy!! Highly recommend!!
Really Great Place For All Your Medical Needs!!! Very Friendly and Product Savvy!!! You can't go wrong with this dispensary!!! I sometimes visit 2-3x a day!!!
Great selection of edibles and vape cartridges. Clean, professional and quick. So conveniently located too. Prices are right best of all. Staff is cool :)
If I could I would give Nova and their staff -10 for a rating. The ATM which I was told they do not own shorted me $20.00. I was treated like I was trying to rob them. I did as I was told and very rudely to call my bank before I even left the parking lot. Off to Phoenix to Local Joint where the prices are better they have a senior discount and great customer service. Oh, as well as an ATM that does not screw you over!
Love this place. My new favorite Dispencary in mesa. All there employs are supper friendly and knowledgeable about there products. Litterly everything if gotten from here is fire.
Small company doing very well with what they have. It was later in the evening when I went in. All staff had smiles on their faces and although it was evening time they were just as energized as ever. Got a free G for first timer. Seen better deals but overall it was a place I would go back to if in the area again. Thanks all!
Today I took my 82 year old parents - who suffer from massive back pain! They explained what they thought would work well for us in a decent manner. Most importantly they were respectful to my parents and kind. They didn't act the least bit unprofessional as a prior review noted. We had Aaron and Ricky help us out. Aaron held out his arm to assist my mom to the back and took his time and had patience with her. They were great, so if you treat them with kindness, they return the kindness as well. I don't know about any of the competition or anything like that, but we needed edibles and other items to keep my 82 year old pain free and they explained it all well and offered whatever information when asked.
Great place. They have a great staff and helped to make sure they understood my needs and helped me to understand the differences between medicine
These guys are awesome. They are clean, modern, and conscious. Shane was my budtender and he was very informative. I interacted with a couple other staff members and everyone was very cool. The best thing about this place is the flower. The buds a received were dried properly and had a strong terpene retention. Shane listened to what I was looking for and provided me with medicine that met my expectations and then some. I recommend!!
Very first time coming here when I got my card a while back and they mixed up my labels. That's was Not good for me. Please do NOT do that...I haven't been back since and I probably will not be. The wait times are too high for here as well. I like to be IN AND OUT. But here I sat for a while. Never again.
Why would I be able to place an EXPRESS pickup, just to have to wait in line behind everyone still placing an order. I just don't get it. Also how can a dispensary with 5-7 employees in the building only use one person out front to handle all orders and express pickups. If you have time, just go across the street to the Good Dispensary. Gave you guys one more chance after MONTHS of hoping you could figure it out just to be let down by a 25 minute wait with two people in line. Best of luck in the future.
Last week I stopped by to get some edibles. I haven't been here in 2 yrs and always had a positive experience as I went in like once a month. Not this time. I walked up expecting to go inside but the gal in the booth was fairly rude and says it says on our website pickup only. Her customer service skills were severely lacking. I am an older gal and sensitive to various odors so will cough now and then when encountered. Well while standing there talking to the gal and I coughed twice but turned my head. Again, I had no cough til standing talking to her so it must have come from the booth she was in. Her eyes looked mad and she backs up like 6". I was really insulted. She was very unhelpful although had messaged someone in the back regarding a topical I asked if they had. I didn't know she was doing this as she didn't say so and thought she was even being more rude typing on her computer. I didn't know how this whole pickup thing worked and it wasn't a good experience. So I left and said I would just order online. That alone almost made me not want to do business with Nova anymore. So now about a week later I go to order online and they throw these extra charges in. They added a $2 LARGE 9X12 REUSABLE CRP EXIT BAG ( whatever the H that is!) to the cart with NO explanation of what it is or does it get added to every order, I just had no clue, and it was not removable. If I wanted a bag I would buy one. There little white paper bags should suffice. What a racket! Then they had a $3.50 convenience fee. For what? They are the ones with less inconvenience as we don't meet with the staff saving them much time. I am on disability income and that extra $5.50 for BS is too much for me. I am not picking up the order nor will I be back. There are enough dispensaries around, I am sure I will find better.
Until this week, I have always had a relatively positive experience with Nova Dispensary, their managers, and the quality products they sell. I went in Tuesday evening and bought an eighth of Blue Dream, but the worker accidentally gave me a gram instead but still charged me an eighth. I didn't realize it was the incorrect amount until I got home, so I drove all the way back later that night to get the rest of the product I paid for(I had the receipt and product ready). I had, unfortunately, arrived shortly after they had closed. However, one of the female workers inside came to the door, saw my receipt and the incorrect quantity the they had given me. She informed me she wasn't allowed to open the doors or sell any product after hours, but she said I could keep the accidental gram I was given (as compensation for the inconvenience they have caused me), and come back during store hours for the eighth that I had purchased but did not yet receive. On Thursday evening I drove all the way back to Nova (again) to claim the eighth I had purchased as promised. I even brought my receipt and didn't even use the product they gave me as compensation (just in case I would need it as proof). I explained why I was there, showed my receipt and the girl at the window was super nice and friendly and told me that she remembered me and my situation because she was working that Tuesday night, so she called for her manager to assist me. The manager (a different one this time) asked for my receipt, and came back shortly to tell me that he needed the gram back as exchange(the gram I was told on Tuesday night I could keep as compensation for both inconveniences they have now caused me). I gave him back the gram as requested only so I could then receive the correct amount I paid for on Tuesday. I do not understand why they would want any product returned during this covid pandemic to begin with.. Especially product thats already been opened and touched. I then asked him (since he was taking back the compensation that was given to me) if I was going to be compensated anything at all for all the inconvenience Nova Dispensary has now caused me. He said that there was nothing at all that he could do to compensate me for my time and gas except take back the product I received as compensation on Tuesday night in exchange for the correct quantity of product that I had already rightfully purchased, but had not yet received (which, again, doesn't seem very logical with COVID happening). I told the manager that was extremely unfortunate that Nova Dispensary and their managers 1) would make a false claim by promising something and not honoring it 2) refuse to compensate their customers anything for inconveniences that they cause, and3) would demand product back (especially product that I was told I could keep as compensation) as exchange for the purpose of resale during a pandemic. For these reasons (and until I'm convinced otherwise) I will be taking my business elsewhere, and recommend everyone who does not want a similar experience to do the same.
Went to another dispensary for a half off kind special but they only had a strain I wasn't fond of so I placed and online order and drove over. Lizzie checked me in outside and was so helpful. Even with people giving her a hard time she held her composer and really made me glad I came back (this is my usual go to because the customer service is so STELLAR) and once again she reminded me never to go anywhere else. The security guard she is always pleasant and sometimes even makes me laugh. The bud tenders and check in is super fast. Great products and the owners really care about the patients and making sure we're all safe through COVID19 aka CORONAVIRUS. Thanks, glad I came home and was able to even enjoy some product while writing this.
Based on countless negative reviews from previous customers, I 100% see why people have such a problem with Nova Dispensary. Holy shit the Karen lookin lady working the front desk was the biggest bitch in the world and could not comprehend that my dad and I needed to get cash from the ATM before we went over to the little window to pick up our stuff. All three women working here rushed the shit out of my dad and I and were UNBELIEVABLY RUDE from the second we walked in. DO NOT GO HERE!!! This place needs entirely new management and staff, they make you feel meaningless and are a waste of their time. Shut this place down by not giving them your business. I'm a nice person but fuck Nova Dispensary holy shit those people are awful.
Makes you stand outside in 100 degree weather while waiting and only takes online orders.
I wasn't impressed before COVID-19 & I'm not definitely not impressed now. Stopped by to pick up Some Korova products - there online menu had been recently updated so there was some expectation of accuracy.Arrived to find an air conditioned portable with 3 people sitting inside. One greeted me while the two others looked on... it was awkward. It was FINALLY time to order.... what they had on the menu didn't accurately reflect what was available. I was told the HAD the item I came for but it wasn't scanned into inventory so I couldn't buy it. I was told to "check back in a few days"... what was the point in telling me you HAD what I wanted / needed but I couldn't buy it? It's okay tho; I'll just check with another dispensary that can keep an accurate inventory. Now onto the waiting part. I have a heat & UV sensitivity, so waiting outside, in the heat & sun caused a reaction for me. No chairs, limited shade... for a 'medical dispensary'. Now, I could have called in an order, true, but if their online inventory wasn't accurate & I'd have to get out & wait until they called me all the same, it made no sense. This medical dispensary doesn't seem to take actual patient comfort or convenience seriously. Despite them being 1.5 miles from home, I'll drive elsewhere.... a dispensary that offers climate control & patients a chair Prices are okay... nothing to write home about.
Every visit gets worse. This was my last visit. Prices are higher, quality lower and service is sketch. Dont use your debit or credit card. It's captured into a digital wallet with a lot of fine print.
I'm loving this cute neighborhood dispensary! The staff is so nice and helpful and they always make me feel so welcome. They have great selection, the wait times aren't bad at all, and they always have some great deals. Highly recommend :)
Well I’m really dissatisfied with this place. I called twice to verify that a particular strain was available for purchase (I am a recreational customer with serious medical issues, who can’t afford the card). I took Uber to this place - $20 one way - and was told that they couldn’t sell it to me without being a medical patient. I was told their hands were tied by the manager. As I was leaving (irate) an employee ran out and handed me a flyer to buy the card I can’t afford. Thanks for nothing Nova. Train your staff better and/or at the very least try and accommodate disabled customers with a sincere apology or a offer a discount, or even recommend an alternative. I’ll never come back or recommend your store.

Great customer service. Bud tenders knowledgeable about products fair pricing its a win win
Excellent Medical Dispensary! Everyone is always friendly and helpful when I pickup my order. I truly appreciate this dispensary being completely medical and love the preordering online process. It's always a nice quick visit and they always give me a heads up on future deals.
I haven't been here in a long time (not for any negative reasons) and was a little worried based on the recent negative reviews. But I'm glad I made the trip back. Their cartridge variety and pricing is great - especially Select (my favorite cart brand). Check-in, security, and check-out were all friendly. I have a hard time believing the reviews stating rude service and all that. I remember this place being easy and friendly when I came here ages ago, and my experience today was identical. As of now (June '21) they're currently only doing online pickups, but that's my preferred method anyway. I don't need to browse around and make a day of it. (I understand that flower customers really like to get up close and personal with the flower before buying, but I don't buy flower so I don't care about that.) Despite many closer dispensaries to home, this will easily be my new one based on their selection, pricing, and friendly service. I'll be back soon with a larger order.
